I've been busy.......really, really, really, REALLY, busy!!! OK, so my last post on this blog was about one month ago. In that time I've been doing the following: 1. Working in Downtown L.A., for a firm to be named later, handling discovery matters as a law clerk. 2. Giving up half a lung and a kidney to buy by law books. (Why are law books so damm expensive when the cases are in the public domain and the publishers cannot claim copyright protection on them?) 3. Trying to attend political events. (Cheers to Drinking liberally first OC soiree. ) 4. Going to some concerts, thanks to friends in high places. (Gnarls Barkley and Velvet Revolver.) 5. A trip or two out to Santa Monica, UK (I meant SM, CA but with Chelsea coming to town and the number of Expats, the union jack is flying somewhere there) 6. Trying to read said books in number 2. (When most of the books come in the weekend before classes, skimming is probably a better word for it.) 7. Oh, and attempting (somewhat miserably) to have a decent social life. Starting Monday, I will officially be a 2L. Second year already, I barely recall finishing my first year, let alone surviving. Law is like sausage........WDR
