Looking for Wheels Due to a traffic accident, which is going to send my t-bird to either a scrap heap or to an auction yard near TJ, I've been researching my replacement options. Currently I've been looking at the Scion tC, only because it looks like a great value. It comes with a lot of standard options that would cost me an arm and a leg compared to other automobiles. But I'm afraid that when I go for a test drive, there will not be enough room in the car for a guy my size. I also have a penchant for pick up trucks, like the Tundra. Insurance and the price of current models on the market have made this option unfeasible for the time being. Also I'm faced with the problems of having to calculate financing and payments. I would prefer to have gone shopping for a new car after having my job for about a year, but I've only had it for a week, so I really need to keep it. The T-Bird was my first car and it served it's purpose well. It helped to cut down on the costs of car registration and insurance A new car is going to eat up a large portion of my income that I would rather have saved for Law School. They always say that the devil is in the details, and this is no exception. I've considered purchasing a used car, but it'll take me a lot of time and research to ensure that I'm not getting a lemon, which is really easy to do in SoCal considering all the driving needed to get around. The car I'm looking for has to match three criteria, it's affordable, it's safe, and it's reliable. I would like a car with decent mileage as well, as the cost of gas is still too high. Hopefully, the other guys insurance company will be willing to up their assessment of the t-bird, taking into consideration all of the new costs I am going to accrue in acquiring a new car. man, I miss MY wheels........WDR
