Live from the Democratic National Convention- Night One Sorry I haven't posted in a while. Tonight is the first time I've been able to write to my blog. So far the Handshaking scorecard is Gov. Howard Dean, Gov. Bill Richardson, and Pres. Bill Clinton. The floor itself is worse then a New York Subway car during Rush Hour. I had to escort a friend of mine onto the floor while her friend from New Mexico helped to clear the aisles as well. I've been unable to listen to much of the speeches as I have been running from suite to suite setting up computers that would have been delivered two weeks ago. Nothing ruins your day more then having to sit in a truck for 7 hours while clearing Secret Service Security with a DNC truck. As for the Security. It is not that bad, you just have to be prepared for the mags. I can clear it less then ten minutes, but the multiple layers of security, from the Secret Service Agents outside the door to my office, from the SWAT guys on standby, this place is locked down tighter then Fort Knox.
