Hello from Berkeley,CA Well, today I visited Boalt Hall at the university of California, Berkeley. Compared to UC Davis the Law School was very impressive and very empty. All of the staff had left for a Summer appreciation festival (thanks for the ice cream and the water). Boalt has definitely moved onto my list of schools under consideration. I also like the Bay Area. Berkeley and the East Bay has a distinct character, from the coffee shops to the people, this area is not as cookie cutter as OC. Independent coffee houses far out number Starbucks (Yea!). Speaking of cool coffee houses, check out the Free Speech Cafe located in the undergrad library at Cal. It was ironic that the protests Reagan attempted to crush have become memorialized by the School.
