An Evening With John Kerry and Friends, Including Me! On Thursday night I was lucky enough to attend the five million dollar fundraiser for Sen. John Kerry. Talk about being in a movie. Rob Reiner was two feet away from me, and I was able to smooze with some of the most influental people in Hollywood. Some of the seats went for $25,000 each, my tickets were worth $1,000. But through my work with the Kerry OC office, my tickets were comped. The most awesome sight of the night was seeing John Kerry step out of his motorcade into the Dorothy Chandler Pavillion. I had a great time, with a great group of people, working together for a great cause, in order to get a not so great President removed from the White House.
