Stand Up!!! I am really disgusted about the apathy many students show for their education. Today we had letters for students to sign to their representatives. Many signed, most did not, I had even one girl tell me, "that's for my mom to sign." I don't think her mom is going to be so willing to cut checks when tuition hits the roof! Arnold proposed massive cuts in the CSU system which are going to hit us hard. I'm lucky I am a graduating senior (I pulled off in four years, a massive feat, considering others take at least 5) so I no longer have to worry about finding classes for undergrad, but I'm afraid the cuts are going to devastate graduate programs. The Political Science department at Fullerton restricted the number of application for grad students this year. As for Law school, the governor's cuts are making my goal in life harder to achieve, as admissions will become more selective and fees will increase 40% PER YEAR!!! (Grad, JD, MBA, MD programs). People need to Stand Up! And give a damm for once. WDR
