A Tie with the Wings, but can't beat the Kings! UGH!! Well, what can I say the NHL season is over. Turn off the lights; call out the Zambonies one last time, start talking to the scouts about prospects and with other teams about trades. All of this pursuant to a season next year. The playoffs may be interesting this year, but all I know is that I won't be watching them. There is no way the Ducks are going to make it. I applaud them for fighting back and tying the Wings. It was an exciting game, but it felt like an away game to me. The place was crawling with Wings fans. All night funny comments where made about Wings fans being Bandwagoners, but the joke should really be on Anaheim fans. The Pond could be packed to the rafters for the Stanley Cup but that's about it. The 4-2 lost to the Kings last night hurts. Not only because it was a loss, but that the Ducks have to play them again. Giggy should have been pulled ASAP. Gerber (while not perfect) is far better then Giggy right now. Oh well there is always next year (?)....WDR
