While I initially ignored those calling for the impeachment of President Bush, now is the time for a serious consideration into the matter. In the area of the Iraq War (Does a War ever really end?) another soldier died in Iraq today, with up to 30 killed in the explosion at the UN headquarters in Baghdad. Here in the US, our national infrastructure is collapsing at the seams. Power goes out throughout the Northeast, and Phoenix has to line up for gas due to a curious "pipeline outage". Not to mention the sudden spike in gas prices in CA (A week away from Labor Day, and all of the forecasters are saying how prices will remain high until the holiday, hardly a coincidence) Computer viruses are running rampant and Homeland Security (don't they sound like a division of Brinks inc.) is staying mum on the issue. When the UN Headquarters was attacked, NSA Rice had to brief him at the Golf Course! The guy is the President/Commander in Chief for Christ sakes. I say, "shore leave is canceled until the "war" is over." I said I would eventually mention why an impeachment of Bush is a far more serious matter then the Clinton fiasco. Clinton received a *favor* from an intern. No one died, the lights stayed on, and thousands around the country had jobs that paid well. Not to mention states were in considerably good shape. Soldiers continue to die under Bush and the above situations make me think about the good old days of the 90's. Just another rant (or am I right this time?)...WDR
