Just a thought here. The power goes out in parts of London, Power went out on the whole East coast, and /. is reporting a major DDOS attack on spam blacklist servers. In some cases taking them down permanently. The SoBig virus is still wreaking havoc on our campus wide computer network. The IT department has mentioned how they are limiting download speeds to cut down on packet transfers and how the virus is slamming the network from the inside, etc... Some IT people have mentioned that the virus is in no way related to terrorism, but when a computer virus is capable of shutting down reservation systems, halting rail traffic, and turning the systems of novice computer users into zombies to launch an attack, terrorism is the first thing on the list. Spammers are forcing the internet to collapse and their very existence to go with it. The spammers can't even leave blog comment posts alone!!! Like I said I hate @#$@%$@%# (Deep breath) @#$#%##% Spam!!!!!
